Rocky Horror Tribute Show
By Shea Bramer

This is the second year that Zero Productions is producing The Rocky Horror Tribute Show at Mesa Theater, and if you thought we pulled out all the stops last year, you’re in for a sensual surprise!

I said “yes” to the part of Brad Majors last year before ever actually watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show - which made for a hilarious reaction from everyone present when I watched the “Floor Show” scene for the first time and realized I was going to be dancing in front of a crowd in lingerie and heels (not something I had made a habit of in my life prior to this show).

I think the most peculiar thing about that experience was that I could understand immediately why everyone is absolutely head over heels (no pun intended) in love with this show. I fell in love with this show…the humor, the music, the costumes, the props, and the crowd interaction all come together to create one of the most entertaining experiences I’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of.

This year, we have an updated cast, a brand new band, new (additional) scenes, even more elaborate and sensual costumes, and even more energy than you’ve seen from this show before. Band members from my own band, Shea & Larren, bring a new, fun, and energetic twist to the songs you all know and love.

Seth Armour brings a sassy and sexy energy to Frankfurter that I promise you you’re not ready for.

The show is directed by Kristin Mercer who also playing Janet (busy girl). Kristin’s goal for this show is to make you as wonderfully and sensually uncomfortable as possible, and she really nailed it this year!

You don’t want to miss the Rocky Horror Tribute Show this October 12th and 13th at Mesa Theater! You can order your tickets online at, or at the box office at Mesa Theater. As expected, we will be selling prop bags, full of all of your favorite props to throw at the cast. Make sure you dress up in your best Transylvanian outfit, and if you don’t know the crowd interaction parts, make sure you print up a script because you won’t want to miss out on any of the fun this year!

We’ll see you Mesa Theater on October 12th and 13th, and we can all do the time warp once again!
